We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and high-achieving secondary school in St Albans, seeking a skilled Maths Teacher for a long-term position starting September 2025. This role is offered via our agency and will run for the full academic year, with the potential for extension or a permanent contract.

📍 Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire
📆 Start Date: September 2025
🕒 Contract: Full-time, long-term (ongoing)
💰 Pay: £150–£220 per day (paid to scale)
🏫 Key Stage: KS3–KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)

Role Overview:

• Deliver engaging and well-structured Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Plan, mark, and assess students’ work
• Contribute to departmental planning and progress
• Support pupils of varying abilities and backgrounds
• Uphold high standards of behaviour and classroom management

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Maths at secondary level
• Strong classroom management skills
• A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Eligibility to work in the UK
