A well-established further education provider in Cambridgeshire is looking for a Plumbing Lecturer to join its growing construction training team. You don’t need prior teaching experience – just solid industry knowledge, a passion for the trade, and a desire to give something back. Training and support will be provided to help you make the transition.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Delivering hands-on and classroom-based Plumbing training to students

• Sharing real-world skills, techniques, and worksite know-how

• Supporting young learners and apprentices as they work towards their qualifications

• Helping shape course content and keeping it aligned with modern industry practices

• Providing guidance, feedback, and mentoring to help students succeed

What You’ll Need

• A Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Plumbing

• Hands-on industry experience in Plumbing and Construction

• Confidence speaking to groups and explaining your craft

• A willingness to train as a teacher (if not already qualified) – full support is offered

• Strong communication skills and a passion for developing others
