A well-regarded secondary school in Peterborough is seeking an experienced and qualified Geography Teacher to join their humanities department on a permanent basis from September 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and ambitious school where Geography is a valued part of the wider curriculum. The school welcomes teachers who are well-rounded, proactive, and happy to contribute to occasional cross-humanities teaching.


About the Role

  • Full-time, permanent teaching role starting September 2025

  • Teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Contribute to the wider humanities department and collaborate with colleagues

  • Play a full role in school life including school trips, enrichment, and extracurricular activities


The Ideal Candidate Will

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)essential

  • Have at least 2 years’ experience teaching Geography in a secondary school setting

  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and excellent classroom management

  • Be enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to student progress

  • Hold or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS on the update service
