Humanities Teacher – Bury

Choice Teachers are an education agency based in the Northwest, currently recruiting a Humanities Teacher on behalf of a secondary school in Bury. This full-time role is to start in September on a temporary ongoing basis.

The school is looking for an enthusiastic teacher with experience delivering, marking, and assessing Geography, History, and Religious Education at KS3 and KS4 in line with the National Curriculum.

The successful candidate will need to:

• Be an excellent and inspirational class teacher who demonstrates outstanding classroom practice and keeps students at the heart of all they do.

• Have high expectations of pupils’ achievement and behaviour.

• Show commitment to high-quality and effective assessment to ensure all pupils achieve their full potential.

• Follow classroom and behaviour management policies in line with school procedures.

• Have strong organisational and classroom management skills.

• Demonstrate the drive and determination to make a difference.

• Be enthusiastic, flexible, creative, and ambitious.

Requirements:

• DBS Certificate on the update service.

• Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or QTLS).

• Two professional references.

• Right to work in the UK.
