About the Role:

• Teach Food Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 may be available for the right candidate)

• Plan and deliver practical, engaging lessons focused on nutrition, cooking skills and food science

• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed in all lessons and practical environments

• Contribute to the development of curriculum resources and schemes of work

• Support extracurricular food-based clubs or enrichment opportunities

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

• Have experience teaching Food Technology or DT at secondary school level

• Be confident managing a food technology classroom and practical lessons

• Possess a strong understanding of food hygiene and safety protocols

• Be enthusiastic about developing students’ independence and life skills
