Choice Teachers are currently working with a primary school in Fulham who are seeking a qualified Early Years Practitioner to join their Early Years provision.

The school is looking for candidates who hold a recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification and have a strong understanding of supporting young children within an Early Years environment.

A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification and valid Paediatric First Aid / Paediatric Life Support certification are essential for this position. Proof of qualifications will be required.

About the Early Years Practitioner Role

• Support children within an Early Years / EYFS setting
• Help deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning activities
• Support children's communication, language and social development
• Encourage learning through play and exploration
• Support children with their personal, emotional and physical development
• Observe children and contribute to learning and development records
• Work closely with teachers and other Early Years professionals
• Help maintain a safe, stimulating and welcoming learning environment
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety and Early Years procedures
• Provide appropriate care and support throughout the school day

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold an Early Years Level 2 or Level 3 qualification – essential
• Hold valid Paediatric First Aid / Paediatric Life Support certification – essential
• Be able to provide proof of relevant qualifications
• Have experience working with children within EYFS, Nursery or Reception
• Have a good understanding of child development
• Be enthusiastic, nurturing and patient
• Have strong communication skills
• Be confident supporting children both individually and in groups
• Understand the importance of safeguarding within Early Years
• Be reliable and committed to providing high-quality care and education
