The Role

• Position: Biology/Chemistry Teacher (Long-term / Permanent opportunities available).

• Location: Luton

• Start Date: September 2026.

• Contract: Via Choice Teachers.

Salary and Benefits

• Competitive Pay: Remuneration is in accordance with the national teacher pay scales, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.

• Main Pay Range: £34,398 – £46,839 per annum.

• Upper Pay Range: £48,913 – £52,490 per annum.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): You must hold recognised UK teaching qualifications.

• Specialism: A deep subject knowledge in Biology.

• A-Level Experience: Preference will be given to candidates confident in delivering high-quality Biology lessons at Key Stage 5 (A-Level).

• Engagement: A proven track record of creating an inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic achievement and personal development.

• Commitment: High standards of professionalism, effective behaviour management, and a genuine passion for the sciences.
