Choice Teachers are currently working with a secondary school in Willesden who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sociology Teacher, Social Sciences Teacher, or Humanities Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis from September 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Sociology Teacher to teach within a supportive and high-achieving department across KS4 and KS5. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons that inspire students and support strong academic outcomes within A-Level Sociology and Social Sciences.

About the Role – Sociology Teacher

• Teach Sociology across KS4 and KS5
• Deliver engaging and differentiated Social Sciences lessons
• Support students preparing for GCSE and A-Level examinations
• Monitor student progress and raise attainment
• Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
• Support students pastorally as a form tutor where required

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Have experience teaching Sociology or Social Sciences at secondary level
• Be confident teaching KS4 and KS5
• Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Be passionate about teaching and learning
• Be able to motivate and inspire students of all abilities
• Have excellent communication and organisational skills
