About the Role – Supply Teaching

As a Secondary Supply Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging, structured lessons across KS3, KS4, and where applicable, KS5
  • Maintain continuity of learning in the absence of permanent staff
  • Adapt quickly to new classrooms and student groups
  • Choose assignments that fit your schedule and preferences

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking qualified teachers only who:

  • Hold a PGCE with QTS or QTLS (essential)
  • Have experience teaching KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and teaching practice
  • Build positive relationships with students and staff
  • Are flexible and adaptable, including for short-notice roles
  • Hold a full UK driving licence and can travel locally

We welcome applications from ECTs, experienced teachers, and retired teachers looking for part-time work.

Essential Requirements

  • PGCE with QTS or QTLS (mandatory)
  • DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Two professional references
  • Right to work in the UK
