Early Years Practitioner – Part Time/Full Time 
Start Date: ASAP/Janaury

£14-15ph

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join a nurturing and inclusive early years setting in Tring. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive environment that values child-led learning and fosters positive early development.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the learning and development of children in the early years phase, contributing to a stimulating and caring atmosphere where every child can thrive.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of high-quality early years education following the EYFS framework

  • Create and maintain a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment

  • Observe, assess, and record children’s progress and development

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support each child’s individual needs

  • Plan and lead age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play

  • Contribute to the preparation and organisation of indoor and outdoor learning spaces

  • Maintain safeguarding and health & safety standards at all times


Requirements

  • Relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent)

  • Experience working with children aged 0–5 in an early years setting

  • Sound understanding of the EYFS framework

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • A nurturing and patient approach to working with young children

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
