Full-Time, Permanent | Salary: MPS/UPS (Dependent on experience) | Start Date: September 2025
The Opportunity
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a specialist SEN school in Cambridge. This role is ideal for a teacher who combines strong subject knowledge with the ability to adapt lessons to meet the needs of students with a wide range of learning difficulties and additional needs.
The Role
-
Deliver engaging and inclusive Science lessons across KS3–KS4

Adapt lessons to support students with SEN and EHCPs

Work closely with SENCO and support staff to implement personalised learning strategies

Contribute to wider SEN initiatives and school enrichment activities
The Ideal Candidate
-
QTS (or equivalent) with a Science specialism
-
Experience teaching Science in mainstream or SEN settings
-
Strong understanding of strategies for supporting ASD, ADHD, SEMH, dyslexia and other needs
-
Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
-
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain)
