Choice Teachers is working with a well-regarded secondary school in the Archway area to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic History Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity to join a school with a strong humanities department, a supportive leadership team, and a clear focus on academic achievement and inclusive learning.

About the Role:

• Teach History across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 may be available for suitable candidates)

• Deliver well-structured, engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum

• Promote critical thinking and a passion for historical understanding

• Assess, monitor, and support student progress through clear and constructive feedback

• Contribute to the development of the humanities department and wider school community

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold UK QTS or an equivalent overseas teaching qualification

• Have a degree in History or a related field

• Demonstrate a strong knowledge of the History curriculum at secondary level

• Be committed to high standards of teaching, learning, and student success

• Possess excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills
