Choice Teachers is working with a well-regarded secondary school in Wembley to recruit a dedicated and inspiring Social Sciences Teacher, with a specialism in Health & Social Care. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive department committed to helping students understand the social world and develop key life skills.

About the Role:

• Deliver Health & Social Care across Key Stages 4 and 5

• Create engaging, relevant, and practical lessons that reflect real-world scenarios

• Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support where needed

• Contribute to curriculum development and help shape the department’s success

• Take part in wider school initiatives and enrichment activities

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

• Have experience teaching Health & Social Care or Social Sciences at secondary or sixth form level

• Be confident in planning and delivering lessons aligned with BTEC or similar qualifications

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of safeguarding, equality, and inclusion

• Be passionate about making a difference in students' lives and futures
