About the Role:

As a Lecturer in Childcare and Early Years, you will deliver engaging and supportive teaching across a range of childcare qualifications. You’ll play a vital role in equipping learners with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to thrive in early years settings and make a real difference in the lives of children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach and assess a range of Childcare and Early Years programmes (e.g. CACHE, T Level, BTEC, Level 2/3 Diplomas)

  • Plan and deliver inclusive, practical, and engaging lessons

  • Support learners with academic guidance and pastoral care

  • Monitor progress and contribute to internal quality assurance

  • Stay up-to-date with developments in early childhood education and care

What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualification in Early Years, Childcare, Education, or a related field (Level 5 or higher)

  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, or working towards)

  • Experience working in an early years or childcare setting

  • Strong communication, organisation, and motivational skills

  • A genuine passion for child development and education

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience delivering CACHE or T Level qualifications

  • Knowledge of EYFS framework and current sector standards

  • Familiarity with safeguarding and inclusive teaching practices
