About the Role:
You’ll play a key role in shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals, delivering engaging lessons that prepare students for careers in nursing, social work, community care, and related sectors. Your teaching will combine academic knowledge with practical insights to help learners thrive both in their studies and future roles.
Key Responsibilities:

Teach a range of Health and Social Care topics (e.g. safeguarding, health promotion, human lifespan development, ethics, and legislation)

Plan and deliver high-quality lessons and assessments

Provide academic and pastoral support to students

Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance

Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices in care and support
What We’re Looking For:

A relevant degree in Health and Social Care, Nursing, Social Work, or a related field

Teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, or willingness to achieve one)

Industry experience in health or social care settings (desirable)

Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
-
A commitment to inclusive and learner-focused education
Desirable Skills:

Experience teaching BTEC, T-Level, or Access to HE Health and Social Care

Understanding of current care legislation, safeguarding protocols, and professional standards

Ability to support learners from diverse backgrounds and with varying educational needs
