About the Role:

As a PE Lecturer, you’ll deliver high-impact lessons across a range of physical education and sports science modules. You’ll engage students both in the classroom and through practical sessions, developing their skills, confidence, and understanding of the wider health and fitness industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach a variety of PE and sports-related subjects (e.g. anatomy & physiology, fitness training, coaching, sport psychology)

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive theoretical and practical sessions

  • Support student progress through assessments, tutorials, and feedback

  • Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities

  • Promote health, wellbeing, and professionalism among students

What We’re Looking For:

  • A degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field

  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, or willingness to work towards one)

  • Experience teaching in further or higher education (desirable)

  • Excellent communication and motivational skills

  • A genuine passion for sport, fitness, and education

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience with BTEC, A-Level PE, or equivalent qualifications

  • Coaching certifications or links to the sport and fitness industry

  • Experience delivering online/blended learning content
