About the Role:

As an English Lecturer, you will deliver high-quality teaching across a range of English modules, including literature, language studies, academic writing, and critical theory. You will play a key role in guiding learners through their academic journey, encouraging critical thinking, communication, and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and workshops in English language and/or literature

• Develop course materials and assessments in line with curriculum standards

• Provide academic guidance and support to students

• Contribute to curriculum development and innovation

• Participate in departmental meetings, research, and quality assurance processes

Requirements:

• A Master’s degree (or higher) in English Literature, English Language, or a related field

• Previous teaching or lecturing experience at further or higher education level

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• A passion for student development and inclusive education

• (Desirable) PhD or ongoing research in the field
