We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Lecturer of Beauty to join a college in St Albans, starting as soon as possible.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Beauty professional who wants to inspire students and help develop the next generation of professionals within the beauty and personal care industry.

The Role

As a Lecturer of Beauty, you will:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality Beauty lessons across relevant courses and programmes

• Plan and prepare lessons that meet the needs of a diverse range of learners

• Deliver both theoretical and practical aspects of Beauty education

• Support students in developing their technical skills and professional knowledge

• Assess student work and provide constructive feedback to support progression

• Develop students' understanding of industry standards, employability and career opportunities

• Contribute to the wider life of the college and Beauty department

• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, behaviour and professionalism

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

• Has strong knowledge and experience within the Beauty industry

• Has experience teaching, training or mentoring learners

• Holds a relevant Beauty qualification or industry-recognised qualification

• Is passionate about developing young people and helping them achieve their potential

• Can build positive relationships with students and colleagues

• Has excellent communication and organisational skills

• Is available to start ASAP

• Has, or is willing to obtain, the appropriate DBS clearance

Teaching qualifications and previous FE/college experience are highly desirable, although experienced Beauty professionals with strong industry and training experience will also be considered.
