Teaching Assistant – Flexible Roles Across Multiple Schools

Location: St Neots, Huntingdon, St Ives & Peterborough
Salary: £85–£100 per day (dependent on experience)

Are you a caring, reliable, and adaptable Teaching Assistant looking for a role that offers variety and room to grow? We are working with several friendly and supportive schools across Cambridgeshire, particularly in St Neots, Huntingdon, St Ives, and Peterborough, and are seeking Teaching Assistants who can work flexibly across different settings.

About the Role

• Provide classroom support across Early Years, Primary, or Secondary depending on your experience

• Support students 1:1, in small groups, or across the whole class as directed by the teacher

• Work closely with SEND teams and pastoral leads to promote engagement and progress

• Take part in wider school life including playground duties, interventions, and enrichment where required

• Ideal for those exploring a future in education, teacher training, or SEN support

The Ideal Candidate Will

• Have previous experience working in a school or with young people (voluntary or paid)

• Be flexible, approachable, and confident adapting to new environments

• Be proactive in supporting learning and classroom routines

• Be able to travel between schools in St Neots, Huntingdon, St Ives, Peterborough, and nearby rural areas

• A driver with access to a vehicle is strongly preferred due to limited public transport in some locations

• Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service
