Choice Teachers are currently working with a high-achieving secondary school in Euston who are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Biology Teacher, Teacher of Biology, Science Teacher, or Biology Specialist to join their team from September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Biology Teacher who is passionate about inspiring students and delivering outstanding lessons across KS3, KS4, and A-Level Biology (KS5). The successful Biology Teacher will join a supportive Science department with excellent facilities and a strong focus on academic achievement.

Please note: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential for this position. Candidates must be confident teaching A-Level Biology.

About the Role – Biology Teacher

• Teach Biology across KS3, KS4 and A-Level (KS5)
• Deliver engaging and challenging Biology lessons that inspire students
• Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the National Curriculum and A-Level specifications
• Support students preparing for GCSE and A-Level examinations
• Monitor student progress and implement strategies to raise attainment
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and academic achievement
• Contribute to the wider Science department and school community

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
• Have experience teaching Biology at KS3, KS4 and A-Level
• Be an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Biology Teacher with excellent subject knowledge
• Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Be passionate about Science education and student success
• Have excellent communication and organisational skills
• Be committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning
• ECTs with strong A-Level subject knowledge are welcome to apply
