About the Role:

Choice Teachers are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Psychology Teacher to deliver high-quality A Level Psychology lessons at a reputable college in Luton.

This is a temporary position for the autumn term, provisionally running until December. The exact working days and timetable are currently to be confirmed (TBC), which may allow for some scheduling flexibility for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in A Level Psychology in line with the curriculum.

• Support students with exam preparation, coursework, and standard assessments.

• Manage classroom environments effectively to foster a positive, productive learning atmosphere.

• Monitor, track, and record student progress during the placement.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: A relevant degree in Psychology or a related field. A formal teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, QTLS) is highly desirable, though experienced instructors will be considered.

• Experience: Proven experience teaching Psychology at A Level or Level 3 equivalent.

• Compliance: A current Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or a willingness to process a new one with Choice Teachers).

• Strong communication and organisational skills.
