Job Title: Learning Support Assistant (LSA) / Teaching Assistant (TA)

Pay: £90 – £100 per day

About the Role

Choice Teachers are working with a variety of primary, secondary, and SEN schools across South West London who are seeking enthusiastic, compassionate, and reliable Learning Support Assistants and Teaching Assistants to join them on a supply and long-term basis from the next Academic Year, September 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Support pupils in the classroom, either on a one-to-one basis or in small groups
• Work alongside the class teacher to help deliver engaging lessons
• Support pupils with a range of learning needs, including SEND where required
• Encourage student engagement, confidence, and independence
• Help maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
• Promote positive behaviour and support pupils' wellbeing
• Adapt to different school settings and classroom environments
• Uphold safeguarding procedures and school policies at all times

About You

• Previous experience working with children or young people in a school or educational setting
• A caring, patient, and supportive approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Professional, reliable, and adaptable
• Passionate about helping children achieve their potential
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
