Job Title: Graduate Tutor – Small Group Learning (Full-Time)

Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire

Salary: £25,000 per year

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

Are you a dynamic and relatable educator looking to make a genuine impact? We are seeking a full-time tutor to lead small group sessions in Aylesbury. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who excels at building rapport with students and acting as a positive mentor and role model.

We specialise in high-engagement learning. You won't just be teaching from a textbook; you’ll be inspiring confidence, breaking down complex topics, and helping students navigate the modern curriculum with ease.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons to small groups (typically 3–6 students).

  • Provide mentorship and pastoral support, helping students build academic resilience.

  • Track student progress and provide constructive, encouraging feedback to parents.

  • Create a vibrant, inclusive, and focused classroom atmosphere.

What We Are Looking For

  • Excellent Communication: Someone who can "speak the language" of today’s students and make learning feel accessible.

  • Modern Curriculum Knowledge: A strong understanding of current GCSE/A-Level requirements (or relevant Key Stages).

  • High Energy: A vibrant personality with the ability to keep small groups motivated and on task.

  • Empathy: A nurturing approach—we want tutors who students feel comfortable approaching with questions.

Requirements

  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent experience).

  • Previous experience in tutoring, coaching, or youth mentoring is highly desirable.

  • Must be based in or able to commute to Aylesbury.

  • Enhanced DBS check will be required (we can assist with this).

Benefits

  • Competitive £25k salary with a consistent full-time schedule.

  • Opportunity to work in a supportive, collaborative team environment.

  • Direct involvement in student success stories.
