Spanish Teacher (KS3 & KS4) – Summer Term Cover

Location: Stevenage, Hertfordshire
Contract: Fixed Term (13 April – 21 July)
Salary: Competitive daily rate (dependent on experience)

We are seeking an experienced Spanish Teacher to join a secondary school in Stevenage for the Summer Term.

This is a full-time position from 13th April to 21st July, teaching Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The Role:

• Deliver pre-planned Spanish lessons to KS3 and KS4 students

• Maintain strong classroom management and uphold school behaviour policies

• Assess pupil progress and provide feedback in line with school procedures

• Support students in preparation for GCSE examinations

No planning is required – all lessons and resources will be provided.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Have proven experience teaching Spanish in a UK secondary school

• Be confident teaching KS3 and KS4 (GCSE level)

• Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills

• Be reliable, adaptable, and professional

This role would suit an experienced practitioner looking for a straightforward teaching position with no planning responsibilities.
