Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 where applicable) according to provided plans.
- Establish a structured learning environment and apply consistent behavior management strategies in line with each school's policy.
- Engage students in learning while ensuring classroom safety and productivity.
- Leave clear, professional feedback for permanent department staff detailing completed work and student progress.
- Adapt quickly to diverse secondary environments and subject areas.
What We Are Looking For
- Qualifications: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) status.
- Subject Knowledge: Strong understanding of secondary curriculum outcomes across Key Stage 3 and GCSE/Key Stage 4 frameworks.
- Classroom Presence: Effective classroom management skills and the confidence to lead secondary students effectively.
- Compliance: An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one with us) and proof of right to work in the UK.
