We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic ICT Lecturer to join a college in St Albans on a temporary basis, with the potential for the role to become permanent.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced FE professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality ICT teaching and supporting students to achieve their academic and career goals.

The Role

As an ICT Lecturer, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, high-quality ICT lessons to college students. You will support learners in developing both their theoretical knowledge and practical ICT skills, ensuring they are well prepared for further study, employment and progression.

You will work closely with colleagues to contribute to an effective learning environment and provide appropriate support, guidance and assessment to students.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience delivering ICT in a Further Education college is essential.
• Experience teaching and assessing ICT-related programmes.
• A strong knowledge of ICT and relevant industry practices.
• The ability to plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• A commitment to supporting students' learning, development and progression.
• Relevant teaching qualification or significant teaching experience.
• Relevant ICT qualification and/or industry experience.
