About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and passionate Lecturer in Barbering to join a vibrant college provision in Watford. This is a part-time role running 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday), delivering engaging practical and theory sessions to students working towards their barbering qualifications.

Key Responsibilities & Units to Deliver

You will be responsible for teaching and assessing learners across key vocational units, ensuring high standards of technical skill and professional practice:

• Cut men's hair

• Cut facial hair

• Health and safety in the salon environment

• Professional client consultation

Qualifications & Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must hold:

• Minimum Level 2 NVQ in Barbering

• A recognised Assessors award (e.g., TAQA, A1, D32/D33)

• A Level 5 teaching qualification (e.g., CertEd, PGCE, DTLLS) or equivalent
