Chemistry Teacher – September 2026 Start

Mill Hill, North West London

A well-regarded secondary school in Mill Hill is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Chemistry Teacher to join their Science department from September 2026 until December 2026.

This is a flexible opportunity, with the school able to consider candidates available for either 4 or 5 days per week. There is also the potential for the position to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role:

  • Teaching Chemistry across Key Stages 3, 4 and potentially Key Stage 5
  • Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
  • Assessing, monitoring and supporting student progress
  • Contributing positively to a collaborative Science department

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Chemistry in a UK secondary school
  • Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
  • A commitment to raising achievement and inspiring students
