Teacher of Media Studies – Full Time (January Start)

Salary: £180 - £250 per day (depending on experience)

We are seeking to appoint a passionate and committed Teacher of Media Studies to join a high-performing, friendly, and well-established department from January.

This is an exciting opportunity for either an Early Career Teacher or an experienced practitioner to work within an ambitious and supportive team in a high-achieving environment. The Media Studies department has a strong academic ethos alongside a vibrant extra-curricular programme that consistently inspires students to achieve outstanding outcomes.

The Role:

• Full-time position teaching Media Studies across Key Stages 4 and 5

• GCSE and A Level Media Studies delivered via the Eduqas syllabus

• OCR Cambridge Technical in Digital Media also offered

• Mixed-ability teaching groups from Year 10 onwards

• A well-resourced department, including:

  • Dedicated production studio space

  • Support from a department technician

The department has a proven track record of excellent GCSE and A Level results, and staff are highly committed to their own professional development, with strong opportunities to grow and progress as a practitioner.

The Successful Candidate Will Be:

• An enthusiastic Media Studies teacher with the ability to teach across KS4 and KS5

• Ideally QTS

• Passionate about Media Studies with strong subject knowledge

• Ambitious and committed to the highest standards of teaching and learning

• Confident in engaging and challenging a diverse student body

• An excellent classroom practitioner with a desire for continuous improvement
