Primary School Supply Teacher (EYFS, KS1, KS2) – QTS Required (Or Equivalent)

Pay: £130–£150 per day (inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay)

Choice Teachers is seeking qualified and experienced Primary School Teachers to work on a supply basis across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in schools throughout East Hertfordshire.

This role is suitable for teachers who are confident leading a class independently, delivering lessons in line with the UK National Curriculum, and maintaining high standards of behaviour and learning. Supply teaching offers flexibility while allowing you to gain experience across a range of school environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons appropriate to pupil age and ability

• Take full responsibility for the class during the placement

• Manage behaviour and maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment

• Assess pupil progress and provide feedback where required

• Work collaboratively with school staff and follow school policies

Essential Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Previous experience teaching in a primary school classroom (EYFS, KS1 or KS2)

• Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills

• Enhanced DBS on the upate service (or willingness to obtain one)

• Right to work in the UK

⚠️ This role is not suitable for Teaching Assistants, Cover Supervisors, or applicants without classroom teaching experience.
