Maths Teacher (Part-Time) – Join Choice Teachers

Choice Teachers are seeking a part-time Maths Teacher to deliver Level 3 Mathematics at a well-respected sixth form college. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and enthusiastic teacher to inspire and support post-16 learners within a high-achieving academic setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Level 3 Maths lessons (e.g. A-Level or BTEC)

  • Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with curriculum standards

  • Promote a positive learning environment that supports student success

  • Work collaboratively with college staff and the Choice Teachers team

  • Track and report on student progress effectively


Requirements:

  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, QTLS or equivalent)

  • A degree in Mathematics or a related subject

  • Experience teaching Maths at Level 3 is essential

  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply through us)

  • Strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills


About the Role:

  • Start Date: ASAP

  • End Date: TBC

  • Working Days: TBC

  • Pay: Paid hourly on the Sixth Form Colleges’ Spine Point

  • Note: staff are paid for contact time only
