Job Title: Part-Time Science Technician – Garston

Location: Watford, Hertfordshire
Days: Monday & Tuesday
Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Job Type: Permanent, Part-Time
Salary: £80 - £120 per day

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Science Technician to support the Deputy Headteacher and Science Lead in delivering engaging and practical science lessons. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and set up equipment and materials for science experiments
• Support the Deputy Headteacher/Science Lead in delivering practical lessons
• Manage and maintain laboratory equipment and chemicals safely
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed within the lab
• Keep accurate records of inventory and stock levels

Requirements:

• Training in chemical management and handling (essential)
• Experience working in a school science laboratory (preferred)
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and initiative
• Enthusiastic and passionate about science education
