About the Role

• Permanent, full-time teaching role from September 2025

• Teach English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4

• Contribute to departmental planning, assessment and enrichment activities

• Opportunities for involvement in whole-school literacy initiatives and extracurricular programmes

The Ideal Candidate Will

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential

• Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching English in a UK secondary school

• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and excellent classroom management

• Be committed to raising standards and supporting student progress across all abilities

• Hold or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS on the update service
