We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join our thriving secondary school in Bedford. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with Key Stage 3 students (Years 7-9) in a supportive and collaborative environment.

The Role

• Position: Science Teacher - Key Stage 3 Focus
• Contract: 5 days per week 
• Students: Years 7, 8, and 9 (Ages 11-14)

About the Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and inspiring science lessons to Key Stage 3 students
• Plan and prepare lessons that cater to diverse learning needs and abilities
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
• Support students' mathematical confidence and problem-solving skills
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure excellent outcomes for all students

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong subject knowledge in science
• Experience teaching Key Stage 3 Science (or willingness to develop)
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Commitment to high standards and student achievement
• Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities

Desirable Qualities:

• Experience with differentiated teaching strategies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
