About the Role:

You’ll be delivering high-quality teaching across Carpentry and Joinery courses (Levels 1–3), helping learners develop practical skills and prepare for careers in the construction industry.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Carpentry lessons (practical and theory)

  • Assess student work and track progress

  • Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment

  • Ensure teaching meets awarding body and college standards

  • Inspire and motivate learners to achieve their full potential


Requirements:

  • Industry-recognised Carpentry qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)

  • Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)

  • Previous teaching or training experience is an advantage

  • Strong practical knowledge of Carpentry and site standards

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
