What is GPS?

GPS is “Guaranteed Payment Scheme”. 

We are looking for teachers to cover all year groups in various schools throughout the Salford Borough.  You will be offered a guaranteed Temporary contract even if there is no work on any given day.  You will be paid £650 - £750 per week (dependent on experience) and will be expected to work from EYFS up to Y6.  In the absence of teaching work, you may be asked to provide support as a classroom TA, but this will not affect your weekly pay.

Responsibilities:

• Guiding the children across the School to further their development and understanding of the National Curriculum.
• Communicating with parents and carers over pupils' progress.
• General classroom support/1:1 support as and when required
