Choice Teachers is seeking an experienced and ambitious Head of Science to lead a successful Science department at a secondary school in Edmonton. About the Role:

• Lead the strategic development of the Science department across KS3–KS5

• Manage curriculum planning, assessment, and quality assurance

• Support, coach, and develop teachers within the department

• Analyse data to drive performance and implement targeted interventions

• Promote a culture of high expectations and academic success

• Contribute to whole-school leadership initiatives

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold UK QTS and have a strong academic background in a Science discipline

• Be an experienced Science Teacher with proven leadership ability

• Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and classroom practice

• Have a track record of improving outcomes and supporting staff development

• Be an excellent communicator, strategic thinker, and team player
