Choice Teachers is working with a well-regarded secondary school in Hackney to recruit a Teacher of English for a maternity cover position starting this September. About the Role:

• Teach English across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 may be available for the right candidate)

• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons

• Assess, track, and report on student progress

• Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development

• Take part in school enrichment and wider school life

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold UK QTS or an equivalent overseas teaching qualification

• Have a degree in English or a related subject

• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and excellent teaching practice

• Be committed to high standards and student achievement

• Be reflective, collaborative, and proactive
