The Role

As a Cover Teacher, you will step into various schools on a short-term or daily basis, delivering pre-planned lessons and maintaining continuity in students’ education. You will have the opportunity to:

• Build rapport with students and staff, ensuring a positive learning environment.

• Teach in a variety of settings, offering flexibility and variety in your work.

• Specialise in your subject area if applicable (ideal but not required).

• Develop classroom management skills and gain experience to enhance your teaching career.

Essential Requirements

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (MUST HAVE) – this is non-negotiable.

• Experience in teaching or delivering lessons, ideally in a UK classroom.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to new environments.

• A positive, proactive attitude with a genuine passion for education.

Desirable Skills & Attributes

• A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, to enable travel between schools.

• A subject specialism in areas such as English, Maths, Science, or Humanities.

• Ambition to develop professionally in the education sector.
