Choice Teachers are working with a high-performing secondary school in Willesden to find a committed and proactive Behaviour Support Officer. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people and helping to maintain a positive learning environment across the school.
About the Role:
- Work closely with the pastoral and behaviour teams to support pupils in managing behaviour effectively
- Help students reflect on behaviour choices and re-engage with learning
- Build positive, respectful relationships with students, acting as a consistent adult presence
- Provide in-class support and work 1:1 with students where necessary
- Assist in monitoring student behaviour records and implementing support strategies
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience working with secondary-aged students, ideally in a school or youth setting
- Calm, confident and resilient approach to managing behaviour
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Able to work collaboratively with teachers, pastoral staff and senior leaders
- DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
