Choice Teachers are working with a popular and well-established secondary school in Tottenham to recruit a committed and experienced Science Teacher for a full-time role starting in September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative and high-achieving Science department in a school that places strong emphasis on student development, behaviour, and academic success.
About the Role:
- Deliver engaging and well-structured Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Plan, teach, and assess across the full ability range, preparing students for GCSE Science exams.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including pastoral support and extracurricular activities.
- Maintain high expectations for all students and provide a safe, inclusive learning environment.
- Work closely with the Head of Department and colleagues to continuously raise achievement and standards in Science.
Candidate Requirements:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge across the Sciences, with a specialism in Biology, Chemistry or Physics.
- Ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
- Experience teaching Science in UK secondary schools is essential.
