Choice Teachers are working in partnership with several secondary schools across Leigh and Bolton, and we are currently seeking a dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join one of our schools in a permanent position starting this September.
Whether you're an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced educator, we want to hear from you! We also offer flexible supply roles, including day-to-day and long-term placements.
🔍 The Role
We are looking for a specialist in Computer Science to teach Key Stage 3 and 4 students. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons that inspire a love for technology and computing in your students.

📍 Location: Leigh and Bolton area
🕐 Start Date: September (Permanent Role)
✅ Essential Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or QTLS in Computer Science or a related subject

A valid DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Two professional references

Right to work in the UK

Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

Passion for education and the ability to inspire learners
🚗 Access to a car is preferred but not essential

Deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 students

Maintain high standards of pupil behaviour and engagement

Plan and prepare lessons in line with the national curriculum

Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback

Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development
