📢 Computer Science Teacher (KS3/4) – Permanent Role from September | Interview: Monday 19th May

Choice Teachers are working in partnership with several secondary schools across Leigh and Bolton, and we are currently seeking a dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join one of our schools in a permanent position starting this September.

Whether you're an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced educator, we want to hear from you! We also offer flexible supply roles, including day-to-day and long-term placements.

🔍 The Role

We are looking for a specialist in Computer Science to teach Key Stage 3 and 4 students. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons that inspire a love for technology and computing in your students.

📍 Location: Leigh and Bolton area
🕐 Start Date: September (Permanent Role)

✅ Essential Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or QTLS in Computer Science or a related subject

• A valid DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

• Two professional references

• Right to work in the UK

• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

• Passion for education and the ability to inspire learners

🚗 Access to a car is preferred but not essential

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 students

• Maintain high standards of pupil behaviour and engagement

• Plan and prepare lessons in line with the national curriculum

• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback

• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development
