Choice Teachers, in partnership with a well-regarded upper school in the Biggleswade area, is looking to appoint a dedicated and efficient SEN Administrator to support the Special Educational Needs department from September 2025. This is a key role providing vital support to the SENCo and wider inclusion team, helping ensure that students with additional needs receive the support they require.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the SENCo, including managing files, reports, and records

  • Maintain and update the SEN register

  • Support the coordination of EHCP reviews, annual reviews, and other key meetings

  • Liaise with staff, parents, and external agencies

  • Track and organise SEN referrals, assessments, and provision

  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and school procedures

Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous administration experience, ideally in a school or SEN environment

  • Strong organisational and communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and school MIS systems (e.g., SIMS or Arbor – training can be provided)

  • High attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information confidentially

  • Friendly, patient, and professional approach

  • DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
