Choice Teachers are currently working with a well-regarded secondary school in Bury to recruit a full-time Maths Teacher starting in September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and welcoming school in a long-term role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The school has Teaching Assistant support in place and a strong leadership team committed to staff development and pupil success.

The Role
- Full-time Maths Teacher
- September 2026 start
- Teaching KS3 and KS4 Maths
- Full planning, marking and assessment responsibilities
- Classes of approximately 30 pupils
- Teaching Assistant support in place
- Temp-to-perm opportunity
- Supportive Maths department and leadership team
The Successful Candidate Will
- Hold QTS status
- Be an ECT or experienced Maths Teacher
- Have experience teaching Maths at secondary level
- Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons
- Be committed to raising attainment and pupil progress
- Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Communicate effectively with students, parents and colleagues
- Be willing to contribute to the wider school community
