About the Role

We are recruiting experienced, qualified Maths Teachers to step into secondary schools across Bedford. Your primary focus will be presenting engaging, pre-set Mathematics lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (Years 7–11), ensuring students remain focused, supported, and on task.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-set, high-quality Mathematics lessons across KS3 and KS4

• Explain mathematical concepts clearly and guide pupils through assigned tasks

• Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies

What We Are Looking For

• Qualifications: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS

• Subject Knowledge: Strong mathematics background with confidence teaching secondary pupils

• Skills: Excellent classroom presence, behaviour management, and communication

• Compliance: Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)

• Eligibility: Full UK Right to Work
