Description:
Our Heywood-based client is seeking an experienced Manual / Vertical Borer Operator with hands-on experience. The role involves machining large and complex components to precise engineering specifications, including one-off parts and full production runs.
Responsibilities:
- Operate Vertical Boring Machines
- Machine large/heavy components to specification
- Work from engineering drawings
- Undertake one-off jobs and production runs
- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience on manual / vertical boring machines
- Experience with large component machining
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or construction sectors preferred
