Assertive Outreach Recovery Worker Location: Dover Salary: £24,000 (Pro Rata) Vacancy Type: Fixed Term Contract, Full Time Closing Date: 7th October 2025 **Please note this is a fixed-term role for 6 months** We are looking for two passionate and motivated Assertive Outreach Recovery Workers to join our team in Dover. These roles, funded by PHE, will focus on supporting adults (18+) experiencing drug and/or alcohol misuse. Working within an integrated healthcare framework, you will provide tailored interventions to help individuals move towards recovery and improved wellbeing. You will manage a caseload and deliver a mix of harm reduction and abstinence-based treatment approaches, depending on individual client needs. This will include carrying out assessments, creating SMART care plans, facilitating 1:1 and group sessions, and delivering structured psychosocial interventions. A key part of this role will be building strong working relationships with partner agencies, such as housing, employment, healthcare, probation, and CRC services, to ensure holistic care and continuity of support.
