Salary: Up to £33,487 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications) plus benefits

About the Role

Within this role the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering outstanding teaching and assessment in Levels 1-5 Early Years, including T Level Education and Early Years, Higher National Certificate (HNC) provision and wider Early Years assessing activity. With an enthusiastic and engaging approach, you will have the ability to motivate students and support them to achieve their potential.

This role will be based at North Notts College and will be flexible to deliver specialism across the other RNN Group campuses when required.

You will…

  • play an important role in developing creative resources to inspire outstanding learning and will be responsible for the monitoring and tracking of learner progress to promote positive outcomes for learners.
  • have experience of assessing Early Years learners in practical or workplace settings, including observations and portfolio evidence, is essential. Experience of T Level and HNC delivery or assessment, or a willingness to develop in these areas, is required.
  • conduct workplace and practical assessment, including observations, professional discussions, portfolio reviews, witness statements and gathering valid, reliable and sufficient evidence against qualification criteria.
  • work with employers and placement providers to support T Level industry placement activity, Early Years practice experience and assessment opportunities, ensuring learners understand evidence requirements, deadlines and progression routes.
  • You will hold a vocational qualification at Level 3 or above, as well as a relevant teaching qualification and assessors award and IQA, or be willing to work towards. You will hold a Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in English and Maths or be willing to work towards. You will have experience in IQA and the delivery of dissertations.
  • You will be able to bring the subject to life, using combined methods of practical, theoretical and digital which will engage your learners and provide them with the best skills, knowledge and behaviours for the future.
