Labourer

Location: Market Deeping, Peterborough, Bourne, Stamford, Spalding, Boston, Holbeach (Although occasional work may be required further away)

Salary: To be discussed in an interview (On a cis subcontract basis)

Hours: 40-45 hours per week Monday - Friday (Work hours are usually 7:30 am – 5:00 pm but may vary due to client demand & weather conditions, you may be asked to work additional hours when business needs require)

Our client is a local, independent home builder working on a range of projects like extensions alterations, conversions, refurbishments, new builds.

They are looking for a looking for a highly motivated labourer to join the team.

The successful candidate will:

• Be competent in all aspects of labouring
• Your own transport to get to site
• A full, appropriate driving licence
• Carry out specific responsibilities when using any of the company’s vehicles
• Have a good standard of construction knowledge & practical skills: materials, methods used, & safe working procedures
• A Construction Skills Health Safety & Environment (HS&E) test pass within the past 3 years
• Cope well under pressure, remain calm when plans change at short notice & keep a cheerful attitude
• Reliable, willing to work hard as part of a team, honest & trustworthy
• Good at communicating with people: clients, employees, line managers, subcontractors, suppliers
• Willing to undergo a Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check on client requirement prior to entering certain construction sites where you may encounter children or vulnerable adults
• Aware of and able to comply with data protection regulations when dealing with information
• CSCS & first aid qualification (Desirable)
